Refund Policy

Refund eligibility, cancellation, and rescheduling terms for Utilityhemlock custody documentation and review services.

Overview

Utilityhemlock provides human-delivered documentation services. Refunds depend on service type and work already performed. Prices on this website are informational; confirmed terms appear on your invoice.

Custody Timeline Documentation

  • Before intake call: Full refund of any deposit if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled intake.
  • After intake, before draft delivery: Partial refund minus ₩120,000 intake and research fee and any print costs already incurred.
  • After draft approval: No refund — balance covers final binding and delivery.
  • Our cancellation: Full refund of unused fees if we cannot complete the project.

Deposits are 40% of quoted project fee unless otherwise stated on invoice.

Cold Storage Planning Session

  • Cancel 48+ hours before session: Full refund.
  • Cancel under 48 hours or no-show: No refund; one reschedule offered within 30 days.
  • After session delivered: No refund — session and notes are complete.

Annual Custody Review

  • Cancel 48+ hours before session: Full refund.
  • Cancel under 48 hours or no-show: 50% fee retained; remainder credited toward reschedule within 60 days.
  • After written update delivered: No refund.

Non-refundable items

  • Completed sessions and delivered written materials
  • Rush surcharges once work at rush pace has started
  • Printed heir duplicate binders once production begins
  • Postage and registered delivery fees after shipment

Refund method

Approved refunds return to the original bank transfer source within 14 business days.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule per booking when requested 48+ hours ahead. Additional reschedules may incur ₩30,000 coordination fee for documentation projects.

Work already started

If you pause a documentation project after record gathering begins, we invoice for hours logged at ₩45,000 per hour, capped at 50% of quoted project fee, before any refund calculation.
